Combined Team Food Trip

This was the last party I attended to this year, the food trip at Cabalyena este Cabalen.

Actually I was early when I arrived at the place.

But when the eating time came, I was 30 minutes late because of that high quality, very durable, artistically made original equipment replacement wireless headset, hahaha. Hi Ronaldus Mcdonaldus!

All wore the red or white outfit or combination, I think so...

We had our exchange gift after eating.

Black and White = ?

Black and white was the theme of the company xmas party. It was my second time to attend this company event. And what pushed me to go was of course the raffle! Wishing and hoping that my name will be picked, the prizes were all gadgets. No sweat and I could get those, just wish and hope.

And yes, I did not win any, again.
I enjoyed the occasion though. I ate lots of young corn! Just like last year.

Still eating corn while partying??

Aren't We Forgetting Something?

How long can a human memory lasts?

A good memory can make you win a lot of money.

Better memory can make you pass an exam.

Clear memory can save you from harm and accusations.

Excellent memory can make someone happy when you always remember significant occasions in life.

On the contrary, memory can be an aid to do some pretensions.

Just say you forget something or you act as if a scenario never happened. Case or topic will be closed at least right away. Of course, you or anybody else, always being on the safe side.

But how about other people involved in the situation that stick to reality and is clear in their mind? Hey, this is not about the wit or how clever a person is. I know you (whoever you are) can analyze this in a mature way.

This goes to all who cannot speak their side because there is no option to verbalize.

Well, the world is really a stage with us being the actors doing our roles.

Oist Eman, pakikastigo na lang.

Sober

It's been a year since I'm away from my family, hometown, my room, rubber swing, pancit bato, friends, my music cds, spending the late afternoon in my mom's mini garden, watering her almost malnourished plants (whew, we somehow saved them before they totally died/dried), hilarious talks while having a meal cooked by my mother, asking my siblings to do a simple errand and many more.

Is it obvious that I miss relaxing and going home?

Of course, I will never forget you bad times, or say even worse times.

When you are not contented to see that a person is happy, one day you'll make sure you bring in trouble.

Now I personally learned and understand that what you see on television, what other people experienced, what is happening in the world will somehow or someday affect anybody and even me.

And when you are already in that situation, it's up to you how to solve or get away from it. But it's better and the right thing to solve it though it seems hard.

We are experiencing economy crisis in our country and we only do well for a moment. Hard life is in the mainstream. What more if a powerful nation that we are workin at, associated with, income source of your co-workers to support their old parents, allowance for their siblings, niece or other relatives, foundation for a stable employment, the start to build future plans, and so on is not out of harm's way and is now affected in the financial system.

Sometimes, you can hardly give a smile to everything though you know that there is always a reason to feel good.

But don't fail to remember some pieces of advice in life.

Alternatively, not all people that smile at you mean their smile, anyway.

Just pondering... It has really been a long year in my life after all.

Finding Tee

The other night, one of my favorite t-shirts entered my mind all of a sudden. My sister, my cousin, and I have this Disney t-shirt according to our sizes but in a common design.

Then came the day that I cannot find it. I totally forgot where did I put that, if it was just in one of the cabinets in the house, if I lost it in my college boarding house before, if.. if.. etc.

For years, I just miss wearing that and it made me smile when I discovered that I have a photo wearing the tee.

... only with the shoulders' portion hehe.

The Deal Just Expired

image taken from movies.tvguide

Last weekend me and labsky watched Bolt, the animated film from Walt Disney Pictures. The dog with the "super bark" power really made me laugh especially the hamster named Rhino.

Oh don't forget Mittens, she's very funny too. The clever revenge of the pigeons to that cat is one of the scenes I will always remember in this motion picture.

We actually repeated the movie (including the trailers before and after every movie) but watched only the first half during the "round 2" of Bolt.

We found time sitting and relaxing on the cozy "sofa" of the movie house. The ticket was expensive so we made the most of it! The aircon experience, the coming movie trailers marathon, and so on...

(Twilight was an option but we wanted to laugh that time. The other must be this coming weekend. Yey.)

Thankies!

myspace layouts

Thanks to this very hectic day, of which I arrived at the office 5 minutes late in the morning, meaning, that late will be deducted to my salary in the next payroll…

Thanks to the non-stop changing of instructions for our task, every two hours or anytime the higher ups decided to...

Thanks to this urgent situation that I needed to go home for an errand but likewise badly needed to stay in the office for a rush company project. Thus, roughly required me to go home after office hours but necessarily needed to go back to the office, imagine the traffic jam alone, very taxing…

Thanks to the jeep I rode back home. It was a safe ride at 11:00 pm and the driver drove at the right speed…

Thanks to 7-11 for staying open for 24 hours, I can eat anytime I didn’t expect I would have my meal.

Thanks to my bed, a very conducive sleeping spot, I woke up the next day already…

These all happened on this day...

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Escapades in Chronological Order

After werk, just in time to travel.

Let's get it on!

Ei, smile, we're just two and a half hours away from the villa.

The kwentuhan-posing blues... and we didn't rent the bus, other passengers were on the other side, we didn't even care about them haha.

Four out of six girls in the team had their period, that included me! I didn't even bring large towel with me. And the following photos can tell what happened next...

Kotex girl number 1, fire away!

Modess girl number 2, you're caught!

You see the pool?? It's waiting for you...

Too cold! Needed to change clothes and n*pkin asap.

EMO time!

Half in pool, half on land.

Can't swim, so pose!

Kinda bridal shower, hmmm must be...

I thought we're winning!

A brake disc, the slotted one, that is. Just see in your mind's eye please.

Octupus? Oh yeah, we lose!

Take a look at some of our foods. Others were on the other table.

Quick chitchat while reheating.

Eating time again, our tummies were really full.

Double check the things guys and get some leftovers.

I dreamed of having a photo of myself jumping. Am I that heavy? Or because I was wearing maong pants? *confused*

Déjà vu

Sleep-deprived and stressed out before the team event, I honestly took time to loosen up during our team building.

What can you imagine on this photo? Hmm, oh well, I know you don't even mind. But I actually think of the "hidden cat" on the Philippine peso bill when that currency was still made of paper.

Look at the guy lying on the slide, he's like the cat on the 10 peso bill hehe.

Or maybe, it's only me who can visualize that.

I Don't Want a Second Time This Time

I am not feeling well today. Some of my officemates advised me to take a half day leave but I refused. I just decided to get meds at the nurse's clinic.

Seeing myself lying on my bed and taking a full 8-hour sleep made me drool.

And as I went home, a shocking incident awaited me and will be etched in my mind.

Don't want to elaborate that much. *sigh*

Let's Just Take a Break

Two days more and we will have our first ever (first ever again like the Halloween Parteyy) team building. After quite a few plans, there is only one bottom line, every planned team outing was cancelled.

At first, I can't believe that the event will come into reality, but now it's really for real! Oh rly?

This is the list of our role, on the other side.

1. "leche!" as her expression
2. "mari digdi" line when calling someone in the conference
3. "asteeg ka talaga pare" tag line
4. "ok ka lang?" concern to teammates, and this is a funny side
5. "collector of team funds"
6. "dadating c clemz"
7. "yours truly, the boinkify"
8. "hey stunner"
9. "ayon!"
10. "cheese bar" business woman
11. will not miss a day without using ":))" emoticon (and i suppose he was the one who took the photo)

What's wrong with you MS Excel 2007?

Here I go again, oh include my two teammates, working on the application of various makes, models and respective years of one brand. Did I already say together with the particular liter and cylinders?

Yesterday I finished the 30% of my shared task in the whole file, don't forget we do it one by one by year, make, and model huh. When the final office hour was soon to end, we saved the shared file before we (three persons) closed it, only to find out that the data we keyed in were jumbled to different cells.

That's a crap! And *&*%, just imagine the emoticon of "at wits end".

Fast-forward Please

Madagascar 2 this weekend with Labsky!

The first movie did not make me laugh much compared with how Shrek gave me stomach-ache and managed to be hilarious every time I repeatedly watched it.

Time is Ticking Out Fast on Me in the Morning

Today I gleefully signed the time clock sheet for the latest payroll period.

I had no lates! Yahu! Yahu! No money penalty for me!

But last time the opposite.

My First Day of November

It's holiday and yey we felt the real holiday in the Philippines, our days off started early.

Seems the weather cooperated to the holiday with the gloomy sky and not-so-busy streets.

Even "major" sari-sari stores were closed and what's on the photo were all I got for merienda.

It's ok then, my tummy "whole-heartedly?" accepted them.

And I poof after an hour. Oh no... don't blame the foods.

Halloweeeeeeh!

Presenting...

Why so serious everyone?

Oh man! I look like a man! as in with toot.

Our team hosted the first ever Halloween event in the Department.

But the deeper consequence of it was.... the team member's name that was picked will do (and was required, wag ka maarte, hihi) any "trick" that the picker instructed.

And that was fun! Every one just played the game well.

Sport kami e!
