Pieces of Me
I "love" rubber shoes more than sandals and high heels ....I can easily go and join any unplanned gimmicks (as if I'm fond of joining one)
Flat shoes make my feet more comfortable while walking ....fare is VERY DEAR tsk tsk...
Normally, I feel sleepy starting from 9pm ....when I was younger, we were already having our dinner by 6pm or 7pm. We were not allowed to go outside anymore.(I know the set-up in our house is still the same until now when I spend my vacation there)
I don't like foods hence I eat right away, so that I won't see them ....

A Day In The Office
Step 1: Work Mode (but thinking what to eat)
Step 2: Taho for the morning break or walang kamatayang Burger Machine
Step 3: Work Mode (slightly faster than Step 1 but not thinking what to eat)
Step 4: Lunch time (with matching TV time like Mad Labs, nap in sleeping quarters or just kwentuhan blues)
Step 5: Work Mode (with burps, pastillas sold by our officemate (just like the scenario during high school), music mania with headphone while working)
Step 6: Afternoon break with foods from the merienda trio (manang, manong and another manong that looks like an applicant because of his get-up)
Step 7: Work Mode .....really
Step 8: uwian na tadaaaah!
Equals a very productive day. Thank God we could still meet deadlines!
Haay I love our office =)
Kita naman sa body noh, I gained weight much hehehe.

The Debutants
From left: Me, Rach, Lash
Taken when we were 18 years old (2004), this photo reminds me of the long-time friendship we had. Take note, this was the first and last glamour shot we had until now.
Rach (the sidekick) was my classmate from grade 5 to high school. I usually bother (or masahol pa sa bother) her when my Mom scolded me during elementary and high school years. Her house is just a walk away from ours. She loves "gimik" and anything related to it especially during college times.
Lash (the berdugo) became my classmate from first to third year high school. Her place is nearer to our house so when I want to buy "chichiria", calamansi or oishi, their sari-sari store is very accessible.
We were roommates in our entire college life. That means, we already squeezed someone's toothpaste when one was away, got one's sachet of conditioner when in need, loaned P5 just to buy isaw, borrowed clothes hanger, helped each other think of "palusot" when one went home too late or after curfew hours, and many more kalokohan.

Brakes Category
You cannot drive safely on the road without the brakes. Yup, one of the vital systems in a car is the braking system which slows or stops the motion of it. Oh wait, this is not a common article about car parts (which I typically do in my former Department in the office). So much for that, I already belong to the Brakes Category in the cool and indispensable Catalog Department of the Company.
What do we do in this team? Well, every working days: clock-in, turn on the PC (wag kalimutan magsign-in sa YM, anjan ang sigla ng lahat), go to pantry for a coffee, quick chit chat or simply watch TV for a while if time permits but this doesn't happen most of the time especially during buzzer beater times hehe, then go back to the station, open the excel sheets with thousands of skus, and open the manufacturers' website or pdfs. With something like 1,319,569 skus and almost 400 brands, some were being handled by our team. The rest of the skus and brands were divided into other Categories like Suspension, Lights and Mirrors, Exhaust, Intake, Accessories etc. Brake hose, master cylinder, vacuum booster, brake pads, brake shoes, brake discs, brake pad sensor, brake lines, brake dust shields, and everything related to brakes, stuff like this is where I'm into every office day.
"Part numbers blah blah need to have verification, modification, prices, and images aside from others". Then presto! All of these things will be accomplished by different persons based on their job position. Seems easy huh? Well, it's easy when the Manufacturer's website provides every data we need particularly the product description. However, if it sucks and we cannot clearly and consistently use their site, then we need to check other "reliable" websites about these part numbers, if not, calling the Manufacturer(s) straight to the United States is the best resort. Additionally, to work things better, let the experts and other superiors give a hand about the task.
Trivia: Spot me on the image hahaha. I know you can =)

The Author - Ang Muchas Grasas
My Nicknames:
Nickie (because I like Nick Carter, I also used this as my code name during our xmas exchange gift in high school)
Bhabz (they called me during 4th year hiskul)
Porky (during high school again, basta anything related to cute pigs hehehe)
La Porky (Rach used to call me in the boarding house when we were in college)
Tinkywinky (Lash named me)
Mayor (as in ung Mayor in jail, because sometimes they gave me massage when we were in the boarding house hehe)
Tabs (my very amiable and incredibly good-hearted officemates called me this way)
My Humps (still christened by my officemates)
Twinks (normally, this is what most people call me)
and the greatest of them all ...
Labster (the never fading partner of Labsky)
My Lines:
"Will our Professor going to scold me? I'm afraid he/she will fail me. Hala! I'm too nervous. It's OK with Ma'am, isn't it? Do you think it's nothing to her?"
In short, I'm paranoid. And as they say, just say "yes" to me when I started to ask you as I will not stop bothering you when paranoia strikes me.
"Uy, libre mo ko nun, para P5 lang naman ah!"
In short, you know...
"Hay naku, nakakainis siya. Basta"
In short, mahilig ako magmental war hehehe.
"Nakakaantok..."
In short, sometimes I experience insomnia or I'm just busy making scrapbook and doing other stuff.
"How much? Twenty pesos? Can you sell it to me for only P12? Please Manong, ha? Ha? Yey, thank you."
In short, I like to argue during trimming down of prices. But I somehow lessen this "tawaran" syndrome of mine. I do not ask to cut the price of someone who sells eggs of pugo, boiled peanuts, corn, and anything sold with too much effort and backbreaking pilgrimage of Manong and Manang. To some extent, my conscience works. But in Divisoria, market, and anywhere I'm pretty sure I will go for "tawad" portion.
"I pity Manong, it will be a long trip but he needs to stand up all along. Why doesn't he just take a rest in their house. He's already old. Did you see Manang? She seems so exhausted and needs some sleep but still selling newspaper despite the rain. She will get soaked.
In short, I'm compassionate. Promise.
